Short bio
Mark is an award-winning South African documentary screenwriter, producer and university lecturer based in Taiwan. When not challenging and inspiring the next generation of documentary filmmakers in the classroom, Mark is out in the field making documentaries and looking for stories. His work for National Geographic includes Tomb Raptor, Hawk-Eagle Heroes, Terraced Fields: Gongliao, Taiwan’s Toughest – Sniffer Dogs and Night Hunters: Taiwan Grass Owls. He has also worked on productions for Discovery, PTS, Da-A,i and TVBC, among others.
