Short bio
Rafe’s dedication to music started at 3 years old when he began piano tuition. Rafe has performed in support of Wolfmother, Spiderbait and Pete Murray, as well as corporate events for Audi, L’Oreal and Warner Brothers.
He has composed music for MTV, CBS and ABC networks and collaborated with Wally De Backer (Gotye) and Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator).
A former ABC audio engineer, Rafe has taught music at colleges in London and Germany. Currently a full-time music lecturer, Rafe’s areas of interest include sound design, sound synthesis, algorithmic composition and the psychosocial dynamics of electronic music cultures.
