Short bio
Nays Baghai is an independent filmmaker and underwater cameraman from Sydney, Australia.
A graduate of Australia’s national film school AFTRS, Nays’ student short films have screened in over 30 international film festivals, two of which were Oscar qualifying. In 2020, he made his feature film debut with the documentary Descent, which has been nominated for the Documentary Australia Foundation Award.
He is the creative director of Running Cloud Productions, and has shot and edited content for Telstra, CBA, Raine & Horne and Deloitte. Nays also holds numerous qualifications in underwater cinematography, scuba diving and freediving.
