Short bio
Larissa Agosti is a composer and educator.
Larissa worked in various schools as an educator, before moving overseas to work with one of Canada’s premier orchestras. Larissa helped to develop music programs, and toured extensively with different musical projects.
Her work has been featured in TV and film. Larissa was a recipient of the APRA composer mentoring program, which gave her the opportunity to work with award-winning TV Composer Jay Stewart. Since then, Larissa has written music for The Block, and other prime time TV shows. Larissa was recently awarded the Johnny Dennis Award through the Australian Guild of Screen Composers.
