Short bio
Brook Tayla is a former primary school teacher who works as a librarian. She has recently acquired a Graduate Diploma in Children’s Literature and is pre-studying for an honours degree. She is the CBCA BOTY Judge for 2019 in the Eve Pownall Information Books Category and will continue as Picture Book / New Illustrator Judge for the 2020 and 2021 Awards. Brook currently lives in Melbourne with her family. She likes to write short stories and enter them into competitions – so far she has been published in three anthologies. Her interests are expansive.
