Short bio
Aurora Scheelings is a documentary filmmaker with national and international broadcast credits (ABC, SBS, RTE, Al Jazeera) and holds a PhD in documentary film. Her interests include the traditions, conventions and contemporary trends in documentary, and she is passionate about the future of the craft. Aurora has been an ATOM Awards judge since 2012 and is currently a lecturer and course coordinator of Screen and New Media at Charles Darwin University, Northern Territory.
