SHORT BIO
Heather Burke is currently Head of History and LOTE at Calrossy Anglican School and has taught history and English for over twenty years. She has introduced a number of learning opportunities for students of history including the construction of films and documentaries to explore the past. She is passionate about students developing the creative skills and knowledge to tell their stories. Working with a curriculum that critiques and values the potential of documentary, film and digital forms is exciting and challenging. Empowering students to not only be critical consumers but considered constructors of these forms is a delightful privilege.
