Short bio
Richard has extensive experience across the arts industry as a festival artistic director, curator, executive producer and documentary filmmaker. He also doubles as an actor and short film director as part of the arts company Tashmadada. Richard is well known to film audiences for his tenure as executive director and head programmer of the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) between 2005-2010. He also swims in the ocean every day and makes very tasty granola bars (peanut butter and coconut go very well together).
