Short bio
Louise is a filmmaker and academic who tells screen stories for and about women. Louise’s experimental short films have won awards and screened at festivals within Australia. In 2019 she completed a creative practice PhD focused on feminist and alternative screenwriting approaches through the presentation of the feature screenplay One in a Million Girl. She has been a lecturer for thirteen years, teaching students how to analyse, write and create their own films. Louise teaches Video Production for the Digital Media degree at the University of South Australia Online.
