Short bio
Lonnie is a Brisbane-based writer, filmmaker and podcaster. His writing has been featured in the Australasian Journal of Popular Culture and the Hunter Writer Centre’s Grieve anthology. In 2019, he wrote and directed a theatre production for the Anywhere Festival. His podcast I Miss You Man investigates pop culture oddities, while on I Only Like You and Movies, he reviews recent film and television releases. Lonnie’s current Masters research focuses on cinematic depictions of rugby league and will culminate in a new rugby league feature film screenplay.
