Synopsis
A woman discovers an unsettling world within her fridge where the fears of the island community of lutruwita⁄Tasmania are expressed through the animated landscape of artist Elizabeth Barsham. ‘Forest of Fears’ is Episode 1 of the animated documentary series There Is No ‘I’ in Island. Every voice in the films was self-recorded in May 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.
