Synopsis
In a coming-of-age tale, Italian immigrant Annunziata Cicciarelli recounts how the promise of Australia led her to leave her small town in Reggio Calabria, Italy as a newlywed 17-year-old girl. Upon arrival, she is faced with hardships and triumphs in adversity in the growing city of Melbourne, Australia.
