Short bio
Melanie Brunt produces curious, character-driven fiction, animation and documentary films through her company Feather Films. Her films, including The Orchestra, Dugong and Lessons From The Night, have won over fifty awards, screened at a total of over 150 festivals; including Sundance, Tribeca, Karlovy Vary, Edinburgh and Sitges, and been nominated for four AACTA Awards. Melanie was a producer on the award winning web-series Wrong Kind of Black for Princess Pictures, which was nominated for an International Emmy in 2019. And her debut feature documentary Paper City just premiered at the 2021 Melbourne International Film Festival.
