Short bio
Mark Thomas Hewitt is the senior Media Studies teacher at St Kevin’s College in Victoria. He has written about film in-print and for online journals and holds a special interest in the Japanese cinema of the 1960s and 1970s. For Mark, exposing students to hidden gems and the overlooked filmmakers of the past is a highlight of teaching. The opportunity to help shape young filmmakers in their early years is the reason he returns to the classroom year after year.
