Carolyn Leslie is a film critic, a writer and an accredited editor. Her work is regularly published in several Australian film journals, where she specialises in writing about films and TV programs for young people and Australian screen texts, particularly those foregrounding women’s stories and experiences. Carolyn consults for educational publishers to make sure that their print and digital resources consistently reach the highest level of quality. In addition, she is a graduate researcher at La Trobe University, where she is transforming her research into the girl quilt-makers interred in Changi during World War II into a novel.
