Short bio
Canan has been teaching English and literature for over twenty years. She holds a double Master degree majoring in English Language and Literature and TESOL from the University of Sydney. Canan has been involved in HSC and IGCSE marking. In 2014, in order to gain international experience, she accepted an international teaching position and taught English Literature, IGCSE/IB program at an internationally reputable college. Alongside her teaching, she was also in charge of MUN, led the faculty and judged Destination Imagination. Canan returned to Sydney in 2018 and has since been teaching English at Alpha Omega Senior College. She has always been passionate about media and has been passionately involved in judging and aiding students with short film competitions.
