Ash Perry is an English and Literature teacher at Churchlands Senior High School. She first developed an obsession with cinema while studying English at the University of Western Australia, with interests ranging from the classics to the avant-garde. In the classroom, she enjoys deconstructing films with her students and delving into cinema history. Ash has been a judge for the ATOM Awards since 2015.
