Short bio

Annemarie Irwin is an experienced secondary educator and currently a leader of literacy. She thrives on instilling a love of literature in her students and always helps them to discover and achieve their best. After completing a double degree, Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) & Bachelor of Arts, at Deakin University, Annemarie worked in corporate roles across diverse industries, before following her passion of teaching. She is also a former photographer with additional qualifications in colour printing and developing. Annemarie is a regular feature article writer for a magazine and has self-published a poetry collection, an anthology and photography works.
