Synopsis
Inspired by a woman who connected with her long-dead ancestor at Culloden, I walk the landscape in Riverton/Aparima (Aotearoa), hoping to conjure my birth-kin who were mixed-race Maori/Pakeha. Disconnected by adoption, I walk wearing Victorian boots as my great-great-grandmother would have done, seeking an elusive connection to my lost history.
