Short bio
Tanya has been an actor and filmmaker for over twenty years. She graduated with a BA Film & TV Production from QUT, and then taught there for several years. She continues to work behind the scenes in various international television productions.
Tanya is also involved with the Aboriginal community and children of Cherbourg, producing multiple award-winning short films and books. Her work here earned her the ATOM Teacher’s Award in 2008. As an actor, Tanya has performed various roles in film, television and theatre, and is also a tutor for the NIDA Open Program, specialising in screen acting.
