Short bio
Dr Patricia Di Risio completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne. Her doctoral thesis investigated the impact of unconventional representations of women and femininity in Hollywood genre films of the 1990s. Patricia has taught film and media in Europe and Australia. She has taught at the University of Melbourne and Monash University, and is currently a lecturer in film, media and journalism at Monash College. She also provides voluntary support to the Melbourne Women in Film Festival.
