Short bio
As a secondary school teacher in regional Victoria for the past five years, teaching media has long been one of Matthew’s great passions. Through his dedication and hard work, all students from Years 8-12 have the option to take Media classes. Prior to teaching, Matthew studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at Deakin University, where he undertook several placements and internships with large media organisations. Additionally, Matthew has been an assessor for VCE Media Studies, and is a regular volunteer on Vision Australia Radio, bringing the daily press and news to the vision impaired around Australia.
