Short bio
Clare Sawyer is a producer and programmer, currently working as the Programmer for Young Readers at Adelaide Festival. As a producer she has made six films, including her current film Recorder Queen with Sophie Raymond. From 2016-2019 she curated the Family Program for Sydney Film Festival, followed by a three year period as the Head of Children’s and Young Adult’s Programs at Sydney Writers Festival. Previously, Clare has programmed films for Flickerfest, Dungog and Cockatoo Island Film Festivals, as well as worked with the Youth Jury at Berlinale. Clare was also Producer and General Manager of the IF Awards for four years until 2010.
