Kate has over twenty years teaching experience in Media classrooms and school libraries; teaching the value of stories in all forms, their cultural impact and personal significance. She enjoys sharing stories of all kinds, unpacking the power of words and images, teaching young people to question the motives and meanings of the texts they encounter, and encouraging the next generation of storytellers to explore their creative voices and develop their unique perspectives.
