Short bio
Helen Carter is an award-winning, masters-educated, cinematographer with twenty years experience in the film and television industry. She has been recognised by her peers, winning awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society. Helen began her film career as a clapper loader on television series and went on to work on many documentaries, commercials, short dramas and feature length films. She is a graduate from the AFTRS, receiving the highest achievement in her year. Her filmmaking passion lies in the area of documentary. Helen lectures in screen production at Flinders University.
