Short bio
Clare is a senior researcher at Screenrights, the audiovisual copyright society. Clare boosts the organisation’s capacity to find the rights-holders of titles that screened on Australian and New Zealand television and accrue Screenrights royalties by using her research skills, diligence and sheer curiosity to find the clues that solve the puzzle of title ownership and track down possible claimants around the world. This includes deciphering which version of a title screened on a particular channel, date and time. Clare is also a writer and has worked in film and television production. As a sideline, Clare enjoys teaching swimming to pre-schoolers.
