Benjamin Riley is a writer and researcher based in Sydney, Australia. Benjamin’s writing explores queer politics and culture, HIV, mental health and masculinity, and his work has appeared in publications including Crikey, Archer, Overland and The Lifted Brow. Benjamin currently produces and co-hosts Queers, a long-running podcast about critical queer politics and culture. He is also the creator and host of The Lifted Brow’s Queer Reading Group Sydney. Benjamin has previously worked as Victorian Editor for national LGBTI newspaper Star Observer, and he coordinated and facilitated The Under Age, Express Media and The Age’s journalism program for high school students.
