Short bio
With a Masters of Arts in Linguistics and degrees/diplomas in film, theatre and journalism, Anita is a community ambassador for healthy relationships. Her film A New Dawn on domestic violence in Indian community is a resource material in Australia. She is also a Hindi language producer at SBS Radio. Her awards include Best Filmmaker and Best Community Worker. Other awards are Editor’s Choice Award, Honoured Poet by International Library of Poets, Washington and Best Story award in India. Anita’s feature documentary film Crossing the Line on partition of India featured and nominated in various international film festivals.
