Short bio
Joe began his career in television in 1973. He worked as a cameraman and director of news, current affairs and documentaries until 1983 when he stated producing commercials. With his brother Ken, he formed Renegade Films in 1995 and by 2011 was one of the world’s top documentary production companies. Renegade, as well as producing RocKwiz for fourteen seasons and Wilfred (selling the format to the US for four successful seasons) made many award-winning documentaries: Inside the Firestorm, Immigration Nation, Utopia Girls, The Diplomat the Artist and The Suit, Aftermath: Beyond the Firestorm and Haring Restored.
