Film Writer and Researcher
Natalie Rhook is a film history and popular culture researcher and regular film reviewer. Her film interests include Shakespearean history and tragedy in filmic adaptation, depictions of war on screen (in particular, World War II German and Russian narratives), rock music biography and documentary, and Scandinavian film and television. She has presented conference papers in Australia and the UK on areas of interdisciplinary study including film, history, music and popular culture. Natalie holds a Master of Arts (Research) degree and a PhD in cinema studies.
