Carolyn Leslie is a film critic, a writer and an editor, accredited by the Institute of Professional Editors. Her work is regularly published in Screen Education, where she specialises in writing about films and TV programs for young people, and Australian screen texts, particularly those that foreground the stories and experiences of women. Carolyn works with educational publishers on a freelance editorial basis to make sure that their print and digital resources consistently reach the highest level of quality. In addition, she teaches in the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University. Carolyn is also currently working on her first novel for children.
